Rhythm Path provides drum circle facilitation in a variety of environments from community based drumming events to team building sessions for the corporate atmosphere. A drum circle is an interactive way of building community and team work. Participants enjoy the stress free atmosphere while improving listening and communication skills. A drum circle teaches cultural diversity and brings together a group to achieve a common goal. The most important aspect is that participants make music while beating things!
What Happens During A Drum Circle? Everyone is given a drum to play and watches the facilitator to show them how to play the drum. Everyone starts out on a simple rhythm that is developed into more advanced rhythms by the end of the drumming session. Songs, dynamics, laughter, call & response rhythms, are integrated into the drumming. Most importantly is the goal of working as a team to build the facilitated rhythms. Everyone learns about the culture of West Africa and leaves with a smile on their face!
